Nightlife in Malta

Malta has an extremely vibrant nightlife, and very popular, especially during the summer months. The main area for nightlife is in St. Julian’s, mostly the area called Paceville (or PV in short).  Paceville is full of bars, pubs and clubs, offering a variety of different atmosphere’s and music styles.  Bugibba is also very popular in the summer months, with many pubs, bars, and some clubs. Other open air clubs are situated close the Rabat area with frequent or weekly parties during the summer months.  Malta is also very popular with top international DJ’s playing at various parties all throughout the year, like Isle of MTV and many other live concerts. For those looking for something different, Malta has a vast selection of wine bars in Valletta, Birgu, and various other localities. The Valletta Waterfront and Vittoriosa Waterfront are also other great scenic destinations one can visit, which host various restaurants and bars.
